
Volleyball Australia’s U23 Men’s team begins their official Asian Championships campaign tour following a two week preparation camp in Canberra at the Australian Institute of Sport.
Captain Nick Butler said, “We have had a good preparation together as a team in Canberra and now we are pumped to be starting the tour. We have a great
team and everyone has really connected well together here in camp both on and off the court.”
The team has just arrived in Bangkok for a short acclimatisation camp and two friendly matches against the Thailand U23 Men’s team before heading to the
city of Nay Pyi Taw in Myanmar.
This is the 3rd instalment of the Asian U23 Men’s Championships and runs from the 3rd to 11th of August 2019.Australia
begins its campaign with an opening match against Sri Lanka on August the 3rd.
