Both the Australian men’s and women’s Indoor Volleyball teams attending training camps in Poland
Volleyball Australia has preliminary registered 30 players for the Men’s Volleyroos team for the upcoming Volleyball Nations League (VNL).
The Men’s Volleyroos will assemble this week in Zory, Poland for a training camp ahead of warm up matches against the Czech Republic in preparation for the first round of the VNL in Katowice, Poland.
Australia will take 12 to 14 players into each of the five rounds of the VNL.
The Men’s Volleyroos face Poland, Brazil and the United States in the first round. They then head to Canada, Bulgaria and Iran before flying to Brisbane for the final round.
Australia takes on the defending champions Russia in the opening game of the fifth round in Brisbane on 28 June, followed by a match against China the next day, then Argentina on 30 June.
The Australian Women’s Indoor Volleyball team are already in a training camp in Zory before heading to Slovenia for matches against four National teams in Maribor. They will then return to Poland for further national team matches.
Meantime in Beach Volleyball, a number of Australian teams are in action in the FIVB Tour event in Kuala Lumpur and six Australian teams are in action next week in the Asian Championships in China.
