EOI – Assistant Coaches for VA Junior National Camp & VA Level 3 Coaching Course

Gold Coast, Carrara
Saturday 14th – Thursday 19th December 2019 

Volleyball Australia are seeking current Level 2 coaches who wish to pursue a Level 3 certification at the post AVSC Junior camp on the Gold Coast (December 14–19).

Successful coaches will work alongside Volleyball Australia coaches to assist deliver the camp program. During the camp, coaches will also participate in the Level 3 Coaching Course and upon completion will receive their Level 3 Coach (Candidate) Accreditation. This is a great opportunity to experience a large scale national camp whilst learning from some of the leading coaches in the country.

Pre-requisites

  • Candidates must be a current Volleyball Australia Level 2 Coach
  • Provide a current Working With Children/Vulnerable People Check
  • Completed the Sport Australia Play by the Rules modules:
    • Harassment and Discrimination (free)
    • Child Protection (free)

     

  • Completed or currently completing the Sport Australia Intermediate Coaching General Principles (can be done after, or apply for RPL)

Cost - $550

This will cover the course fee, food, ground transport and accommodation at the camp

Travel

The cost and arrangement of travel /flights to and from the camp will be the responsibility of the candidates.
