Volleyball Australia seeks Participation Director


 

Volleyball Australia is seeking a new Participation Director for its executive team. 

Volleyball Australia is a National Olympic Sporting Organisation that is committed to being a world leader in our sport. Our role is to inspire the love of Volleyball by fostering participation and sporting excellence for the benefit of all.  Sport Participation is a critical portfolio for us to achieve this purpose. 

In 2018, Volleyball Australia will be launching the most exciting revolution in the Participation space. The “We are Volleyball Agenda” is a collaboration and investment strategy that will align all the SSOs and Volleyball Australia to deliver on participation outcomes and the volleyball Australia's Inclusive Participation Plan.

This four year agenda will require an outstanding leader that will engage and empower the workforce nationwide to manage the successful delivery of several independent and interrelated projects totaling a $4 million budget.

The full-time position will be based in Canberra and responsible for the strategic and operational delivery of Volleyball Australia's Inclusive Participation Plan.  The position will work across the organisation, the member state associations and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of the outcomes of this plan and its strategic goals.
